This page is to let you know how Yetholme Yorkies are performing in the showring. This is my ‘brag page’. But the Yetholme Yorkies website is also here to keep in touch with the entire Yorkshire Terrier community, so I’d love to publish YOUR show results.

Click here to go to this site’s ‘News’ section to find out how you can have your Yorkie show results, and other interesting news, published on this website. I call this page ‘The Independent Yorkshire Terrier’. It’s a place where we can all air our news and views and share our Yorkie experiences among ourselves and the wider world.

Yorkshire Terrier Club of NSW Championship Show
March 30, 2002
Judge: Mrs M. Mayfields, USA

I wasn’t able to attend this show with my team because I was busily packing and preparing for my trip to the UK, Europe and Japan, but a Yetholme Yorkie did keep the flag flying.

Congratulation to Ch Yetholme Midas Touch on winning Best In Show.

Middy is co-owned by Yetholme Yorkies and Miss Jan Boyce of Nantiki Kennels, Sydney. Jan has been Middy’s ‘Mum’ since he was eight weeks old.

Middy’s win was a great follow-up to his result at the same show in 2001. Then, at just six months of age, he was Runner-up Best In Show to his sire Grand Ch Yetholme Make Mine Mink.

Middy also achieved Runner-up In Group at an All Breeds Show in March, which is quite an achievement for such a young dog. It all points to a promising future for this little man.

For full results of the Championship Show and Sydney Royal Show, go to ‘The Independent Yorkshire Terrier’.

Grand Championship For Yetholme Make Mine Mink (‘Makka’)

Makka attained his Australian Grand Championship title in January 2002 at just three years of age.

In Australia, 100 Challenge points are required for the title of Australian Champion and 1,000 points for Grand Champion.  It can be quite a long process.

Makka has been a joy to show since his very first show.  He seemed to know exactly what to do, and when to do it.

He is siring quality puppies.
